Refund Policy

1. Overview

AlphaView offers monthly subscription plans (Pro at ₹299/month, Premium at ₹799/month) processed via Razorpay. This policy explains when and how refunds are issued.

2. Cancellation

  • You can cancel your subscription at any time from Settings > Subscription > Cancel.
  • Upon cancellation, your paid plan features remain active until the end of the current billing period.
  • After the period ends, your account reverts to the Free plan. No further charges will apply.
  • Any unused AI credits — both those carried over from prior cycles and any purchased top-up credits — are placed in a 20-day reserve when your paid period closes. They are non-refundable in cash, but resubscribing inside the reserve window restores them. See section 6 for full details.

4. How to Request a Refund

  1. Email support@alphaview.in with subject line "Refund Request".
  2. Include your registered email address and the Razorpay payment ID (found in your subscription confirmation email).
  3. Briefly describe the reason for the refund.

5. Processing Time

  • Refund requests are reviewed within 2 business days.
  • Approved refunds are processed via Razorpay to the original payment method.
  • Bank processing may take an additional 5-7 business days to reflect in your account.

6. AI Credits, Carry-over, and Forfeiture

AI credits are a service entitlement, not a stored-value instrument. They have no cash value and the rules below govern how unused balances are handled. Refunds in cash are issued only under sections 3–5 above.

  • Top-up purchases. Top-up packs can only be bought while on a Pro or Premium plan and are non-refundable once any portion has been consumed. Unconsumed top-ups purchased within the last 48 hours can be refunded on request to support@alphaview.in. If an AI call fails due to a server error, the credit is automatically restored. While you remain on a paid plan top-up credits do not expire; on lapse to Free they are locked and forfeited on the same terms as carried-over credits (below).
  • Carry-over for paid subscribers. Unused portions of your monthly grant carry over into a separate balance at each renewal as long as you remain on Pro or Premium. There is no cash equivalent to this balance.
  • 20-day grace window on lapse. If your subscription ends and your account moves to Free, your carried-over balance and any purchased top-up credits are locked and held in reserve for twenty (20) days. During this window the balance is visible in your account but cannot be spent. Resubscribing to Pro or Premium inside the window automatically unlocks it.
  • Forfeiture after 20 days. If you do not resubscribe before the window closes, the entire locked balance — carried-over and topped-up alike — is permanently forfeited. Forfeiture is automatic, irreversible, and not eligible for cash refund.
  • Account deletion. Deleting your account erases all credit balances — monthly, carried-over, and top-up — without refund.

7. Referral Rewards

Free subscription time earned via the Refer & Earn program is non-transferable and non-refundable. These rewards have no cash value.
