Refund Policy

1. Overview
AlphaView offers monthly subscription plans (Lite at ₹49/month, Pro at ₹299/month, Premium at ₹799/month) processed via Razorpay. This policy explains when and how refunds are issued.
2. Cancellation
- You can cancel your subscription at any time from Settings > Subscription > Cancel.
- Upon cancellation, your paid plan features remain active until the end of the current billing period.
- After the period ends, your account reverts to the Free plan. No further charges will apply.
- Cancelling does not forfeit any AI credits you already hold. Carried-over and purchased credits remain fully spendable on the Free plan until their own 12-month expiry. They are non-refundable in cash. See section 6 for full details.

4. How to Request a Refund
- Email support@alphaview.in with subject line "Refund Request".
- Include your registered email address and the Razorpay payment ID (found in your subscription confirmation email).
- Briefly describe the reason for the refund.
5. Processing Time
- Refund requests are reviewed within 2 business days.
- Approved refunds are processed via Razorpay to the original payment method.
- Bank processing may take an additional 5-7 business days to reflect in your account.
6. AI Credits, Carry-over, and Expiry
AI credits are a service entitlement, not a stored-value instrument. They have no cash value and the rules below govern how unused balances are handled. Refunds in cash are issued only under sections 3–5 above.
- Top-up purchases. Top-up packs can be bought on any plan and are spendable on any plan. They are non-refundable once any portion has been consumed. Unconsumed top-ups purchased within the last 48 hours can be refunded on request to support@alphaview.in. If an AI call fails due to a server error, the credit is automatically restored.
- Twelve-month expiry. Every credit other than the monthly grant — purchased top-ups, referral bonuses, admin grants and carried-over credits — expires twelve (12) months after it is added, calculated per batch from its own date. Credits are spent soonest-expiring-first. Expiry is automatic, irreversible, and not eligible for cash refund.
- Carry-over for paid subscribers. Unused portions of your monthly grant carry over as credits at each paid renewal, which then expire twelve (12) months later. There is no cash equivalent to this balance.
- Plan changes are credit-neutral. If your subscription ends and your account moves to Free, your carried-over and purchased credits are not locked or forfeited — they remain spendable on Free until their own twelve-month expiry.
- Account deletion. Deleting your account erases all credit balances — monthly, carried-over, and top-up — without refund.
7. Referral Rewards
Free subscription time earned via the Refer & Earn program is non-transferable and non-refundable. These rewards have no cash value.
